Afternoon Nasıl Yazılır?

Akşamüstü anlamına gelen İngilizce "afternoon" sözcüğü birleşik yazılır. Eğer yayına ek gelirse kelimenin İngilizce kökünü ayırt etmek açısından kesme işareti getirmek daha sağlıklı olur. Kalın sesliyle bitmiş sayılacağı için "afternoon'u", "afternoon'a" gibi çekim alır.

Afternoon adlı parçanın sözleri aşağıdaki gibidir:

Another brush of whiskers and that distant smile
So little life remaining and the shadows won't contain me
The book of night is closing for the child
I knew you were a strange girl or I thought you were
You mustered all the wonder from a room of hurt
